WINTERSTEIGER Disc Shuttle 3C

WINTERSTEIGER Disc Shuttle 3C

WINTERSTEIGER's Disc Shuttle 3C features a fully automatic oscillating grinding stone which works on the base. The ski side and base edges are then ground to the highest precision with the Ceramic Disc Finish.

Self serve. Automatically feeds up to 6 individual skis. The pre-sorting occurs according to ski length and width. Every ski can be serviced regardless of its top surface. Using the feed system, skis can be fed independently, one or more times, over the grinding unit and at the end of the process, they will be transferred to the final stage for removal.

A grind with a bite. The oscillation of the 200 mm wide grindstone greatly increases the edge life and it can be turned off at any time. In order to meet the individual needs for bases and slopes, the surface can be variously structured using a diamond and the computer guided grinding process.

All bases are not equal.
In addition to the proven WINTERSTEIGER structures, (linear, crossed and diagonally crossed) the computer guided grinding process allows new race-tested structures such as arrow, V and wave structures.

A grind with even more bite. The servo-pneumatic and the edge grind make the multi-functional servicing station for alpine and shaped skis. Plastic tips or not, the grinding of the tip area is no longer a problem. With the help of the pressure adjustment on the ski geometry using the servo-pneumatic, an even grind level is provided over the entire ski length, even on strongly curved, shaped skis. This gives an optimum grinding result for all ski models.

A profile with an edge. Through the innovative ceramic-disc procedure, both the side edge as well as the base edge will attain an optimum grind result. This reveals itself in a precise edge geometry, a precise edge angle, and an absolutely smooth edge surface over the entire ski length. All relevant edge combinations are adjustable for skiers and carvers. The grind using the self-sharpening ceramic disc wheels enable pleasant carving and skiing, as well as security even on hard, icy slopes. In addition, the sharpness of the edges lasts longer.

The ski that rests, rusts! During the edge process, the rust is taken off the edges and tips and tails of the skis, and in the transition to the disc grind, the edges are polished.

Those who wax will get there. With the drying of the ski, the shuttle offers the best conditions for an optimal waxing job. Even when things heat up, the shuttle stays cool and gives the best possible results during hot waxing and structure brushing. The pre-warming of the ski base allows for a better waxing application in order to meet the demands of the highly functional, patented fleece procedure.

Shiny views. The proven Scotchbrite disc takes care of a perfect polish. The shuttle completes the first class ski service with the deburring of the edges and the polishing of the base, whereby the unit oscillates between the skis. The ski can then be taken out from the bin that is designed to hold up to 6 skis.
