PAYMENT AND PRICING

Methods of Payment

Visa, Mastercard and American Express are the methods of payment we accept. To process your payment, the Billing Address information you enter during checkout must match the information that your credit card provider has on file. The checkout process and the information you enter during checkout is protected with SSL Encryption from VeriSign, Inc.

We do not accept PayPal, Interac, money orders or cheques. At this time Sporting Life Gift Cards and credit notes are redeemable in-store only and cannot be used online.

When you submit an order through our online store, your credit card will be authorized for the total cost of the ordered product(s), applicable taxes and shipping costs. When your order is shipped, Sporting Life will charge a total against the authorization that reflects the total cost of the shipped product(s), applicable taxes and shipping costs.

Pricing and Currency

All prices are listed and charged in Canadian Dollars. Payments made with a foreign credit card will be billed using a currency conversion rate determined by bank which issued the credit card. In most cases this rate closely follows live exchange rates, but it may vary according to conditions stipulated in your cardholder agreement.

Taxes

Taxes will be charged when applicable. All orders shipping within Ontario are subject to 13% HST. Orders shipping to other Canadian provinces will be charged 5% HST and will not be charged PST. Orders shipping to the United States are calculated with Canadian taxes when the order is placed; these taxes will be removed during processing. United States orders may have applicable state or local taxes levied upon delivery.


SHIPPING INFORMATION AND POLICIES

Processing and Shipping

All orders ship from Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Orders will be processed and shipped on the next business day after they are placed. Sporting Life does not ship on weekends or statutory holidays; all orders placed on a Friday will be processed on the following Monday (unless it is a holiday).

Processing Delays

In certain cases your order may require additional processing time due to order size, product location and inventory status, or the volume of orders we are processing. In these situations we will notify you of the delay via email within 24 hours of your order being placed and adjust your shipping charge appropriately if necessary.

Domestic Shipping Services and Rates

All orders are shipped via UPS. Delivery timelines are given in business days. These rates apply to domestic shipments only.

3 - 7 Day Ground Shipping $10.00

"Signature Required Upon Delivery" service may be added for an additional charge of $3.00. Please contact our shipping desk directly at 416-485-1685 ext. 5460 after you have placed your order if you would like to add this service.

If an item you order is oversized, overweight or especially fragile, a Sporting Life representative will contact you and inform you of any extra freight or handling charges which may be required. Any additional charges are calculated based on the dimensional volume, weight and destination of the package.

Order Tracking

When your order ships, you will receive an email from Sporting Life that includes a hyperlink to the UPS tracking information for your shipment. To ensure that you receive your Order Conformation and shipping notification, please enter your email address carefully and accurately during checkout and/or choose "Yes" to receiving product and promotional info when creating your profile on SportingLife.ca.

UPS Delivery Information

UPS delivers Monday-Friday during business hours. Deliveries are not made on weekends or statutory holidays.

In most cases, the UPS driver can leave shipments for you even if you're not available. "Driver Release" is a UPS residential delivery service through which - at the discretion of the delivery driver - a Package may be left at a private residence without obtaining a signature. Driver Release is only available in select areas.

If Driver Release is not available or appropriate for your location and you are not present when the driver attempts to deliver your shipment, you will be left a UPS InfoNotice. The UPS InfoNotice lists important information, such as if/when your driver will re-attempt delivery or whether a signature is required to release the package. It is the responsibility of the receiving party to contact UPS to coordinate time of delivery if it cannot be conducted during normal business hours.

On the back of the UPS InfoNotice, you will find instructions on rescheduling your delivery, having your shipment delivered to a different address, or arranging to pick up your shipment at a UPS Customer Center.

Please contact our shipping desk directly at 416-485-1685 ext. 5460 if you would like to have a signature required upon delivery. There is an additional $3.00 charge for this service.

Delivery to a Remote Address

If the delivery address is in a remote location that does not receive regular UPS service, the delivery may be delayed or sub-contracted to another courier. The delivery timeline may be extended and/or an additional shipping charge may be applied. You will be contacted by a Sporting Life representative if there are additional charges for your shipment. Any delivery delays or exceptions will be displayed in the UPS tracking information for your order. INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING INFORMATION AND POLICIES

Overseas Shipping

Sporting Life ships only to North American addresses. An international billing address is acceptable, but the shipping address must be within North America. All orders placed with a shipping address outside of North America will be cancelled immediately and all charges removed.

United States Shipping Services

Orders shipping to the United States are subject to shipping charges, brokerage fees and any applicable taxes for your jurisdiction. A Sporting Life representative will contact you within one business day to review the shipping costs for your order and confirm your acceptance of the shipping charges, brokerage fees, customs fees (if applicable) and taxes. We cannot ship your order until we confirm these charges with you.

United States customs law requires that the receiver of the shipment have a valid Social Security Number for the package to be released.

In the event of a failed or refused delivery, the shipping charge and additional fees will not be refunded, and you will be charged for the return shipping and any associated fees.

United States Shipping Rates

United States orders ship via UPS Ground. Rates are calculated based on the dimensional volume, weight and value of the package and are determined on a case-by-case basis. The rate will be communicated to you by a Sporting Life representative before your order ships, at which point you may make changes to the shipping method if you wish. The shipping rates shown during checkout apply to Canadian orders only.

United States Brokerage Fees and Taxes

United States orders with a declared value less than $200 are not subject to a brokerage fee. United States orders with a declared value between $200.00 and $1200.00 are subject to a brokerage fee of $24.25. Brokerage fees for an order with a declared value greater than $1200.00 will be communicated to you by a Sporting Life representative before your order ships.
Any applicable state taxes will be charged at the door upon delivery.

International Vendor Restrictions

Some vendor contracts prohibit us from shipping their products outside of Canada. We are able to ship Canada Goose products within North America. If your order contains an item we cannot ship internationally, that item will be cancelled and you will be notified.

DECEMBER HOLIDAY SHIPPING POLICY

Sporting Life guarantees that domestic orders placed on or before December 14 will be delivered on or before December 24. We anticipate delays in our processing time for orders placed after December 14 and cannot guarantee delivery by December 24, regardless of the shipping method you choose. We do our best to ship orders as quickly as possible during this period and choosing a faster delivery method will get the order to you sooner.

Our processing time may also be delayed during Boxing Week. In these situations we will notify you of the delay via email within 24 hours of your order being placed.

EXCEPTIONAL CIRCUMSTANCES AND SPECIAL REQUESTS

If you require special attention to your shipment or have a shipping request that falls outside of our stated policies and/or timelines, we may be able to accommodate you.
