The Sporting Life 10k
Camp Oochigeas for Children With Cancer Whether you're running your first race of the season or the first race of your life, there's nothing like running down car-free Yonge Street. Starting at the Sporting Life flagship store and finishing at the CN Tower, you'll be running down the world's longest street with some of the friendliest, funkiest and fastest cats in town. An urban course like no other, the Sporting Life 10K offers first-time runners and seasoned pros a chance to set a new personal best.

By joining the thousands of runners who turn out on May 1st, you'll become part of an international running celebration. Runners from across the country, and visitors from as far as Oxford, England and Huntington Beach, California have partaken in this super fun-run.

Sporting Life is honoured to have your support at this yearly running event, which helps raise thousands of dollars for Camp Oochigeas. So whether you race alone or run as part of a team, you're helping to raise funds and awareness of the Camp Oochigeas, Canada's first residential camp for children who have cancer. Camp Ooch provides an active, outdoor experience where children aquire new skills and meet new friends in a supportive and caring environment. It is the only camping facility in Ontario that offers chemotheraphy treatment onsite. So register for the Sporting Life 10k and run to give the summer-camp-memory-of-a-lifetime to a kid with cancer.
