ABS SHELL [HELMET]
An ABS Shell is a terpolymer made by polymerizing styrene and acrylonitrile in the presence of polybutadiene. ABS's light weight and ability to be injection molded and extruded make it useful in manufacturing products such as cycling helmets. The ABS Shell acts as a protective layer for whichever foam construction (whether EVA or EPS) is being used.
