Description

POLYETHER

A plastic material used in various ski boot shells. It is widely used due to its vast versatility in manufacturing. It can be produced to be quite stiff flexing or quite soft dependant on purpose.

POLYURETHANE

A synthetic material frequently used as an alternative to leather in the manufacturing of footwear. PU is light, flexible and durable.

THERMO FIT 3

The Thermo Fit 3 liner is made with a thermo-customizable ankle pad material. The liners must be heated throughout using a hot air blowing system (100°C x 10 minutes). After heating, it is possible to fit the boot and obtain the customization of the liner's Fit. The foot "Retention Level - RL", is proportional to the material density ; RL 3, "High density" ankle pad material.

THINSULATE™ INSULATION

This unique micro fiber insulation is ten times smaller than other synthetics with equal insulating power. The fibres trap warm air, reflect radiant body heat and deliver warmth two times greater than down and other polyester insulations.

CUSTOM TONGUE

Tongue padding features a hollow instep area to guarantee maximum customization to the skiers' instep. More comfort, more warmth, more ski control.

MONO INJECTED SHELLS

Injection technology based on the use of a single plastic material. Mono-injection delivers better ski performance than bi-injected, optimizes weight reduction and is much easier for boot-fitters to grind and punch.

MAX WARM INSIDE

Thinsulate® material is used both in the toe box area and in the ankle area to maximize liner insulation.

ULTRA GRIP

A new real vulcanized rubber sole, to get the best grip on every kind of surface. Designed for those short up hill walks in total safety.

CONTROL FIT

Control fit shell engineering with a foot-scanning system allows for a more accurate and precise fit. An anatomically contoured heel cap, tapered mid-foot area, accurate in-step height, and asymmetrical toe box provide perfect wrapping all around the foot, correct position and retention of the foot using a modular step-in wrap, great heel cap deFINISH and retention and generous toe box volume without compromising the control and the performance.
