Description
The lightweight and highly ventilated Auric Helmet from POC has a durable ABS shell and a multi-impact EPP liner, which is strategically thicker in the most exposed areas. The Auric provides increased protection for the ears and temples and is compatible for use with a beanie and goggles underneath. The soft internal padding makes sure the helmet stays safe and comfortable in place and the padding can also be adjusted for ventilation. The Auric helmet has been developed in collaboration with POC team athlete Aaron Blunck.Additional Information

Features
ABS SHELL [HELMET]
An ABS Shell is a terpolymer made by polymerizing styrene and acrylonitrile in the presence of polybutadiene. ABS's light weight and ability to be injection molded and extruded make it useful in manufacturing products such as cycling helmets. The ABS Shell acts as a protective layer for whichever foam construction (whether EVA or EPS) is being used.EPP [POC]
The updated helmets are equipped with a liner of Expanded Polypropylene (EPP) instead of EPS. Unlike EPS, EPP does not deform permanently on impact and is therefore suitable to absorb repetitive shocks.
