Description

The Racetiger SC with tip rocker is built for super fast and agile turns while still providing lots of riding comfort. This impressive combination is possible due to integration of 3D.Glass Powered by Steel and new sidecuts with matching flex and tip geometry, topped off with the UVO 3D. The UVO creates a significant vibration dampening of the ski. The 3D.Glass construction features fiberglass layers running three dimensionally over the ski instead of the usual horizontal-only webbings. This allows more pop and a sharp edge change and grip. The vMotion3 binding with GripWalk® option makes sure the whole power gets transferred from the boot to the ski.

BINDINGS DO NOT COME PRE-MOUNTED

Bindings do not come mounted on skis, please visit one of our retail locations to have them installed by a certified binding technician.

GRIPWALK®

GripWalk® is the revolutionary sole-binding innovation that provides much better walking comfort and improved grip.

3D.GLASS

Compared to classic glass constructions the three-dimensional and multiple-folded glass layers in the binding area result in an increased edge grip and a more vivid rebound behavior in turns.

POWERED BY STEEL

A steel layer in the ski provides very good durability, controlled flex and smooth skiing in faster speeds.

P-TEX 2100

A sintered high-density and high molecular polyethylene base with great gliding characteristics and high durability.

FULL SENSOR WOOD CORE

A compact wooden core is integrated from the ski tip to the ski tail providing power and energy along the entire ski's length. The result is optimum support and responsiveness for skiers with a good feeling for the snow and slopes and seek intuitive feedback from their skis.

On average, your skis should fall somewhere between your chin and forehead when held upright. There are a few additional details that play a significant role in determining which ski size is best fit for you. After consulting the size chart, be sure to consider your weight, skill level, skiing style and the type of terrain you’ll be frequenting.

Here are some reasons for sizing up or down:

Weight

  • Size up if you are closer to the high end of your weight range or above average weight for your height.
  • Size down if you are closer to the low end of your weight range or below average weight for your height.

Skill Level and Style

  • Size up if you are an advanced/expert skier who prefers to be fast and aggressive in style.
    • Longer skis tend to have a more stable feel.
  • Size down if you are a beginner/intermediate skier who prefers skiing at a more leisurely pace with quick turns.
    • Shorter skis offer higher overall manoeuverability.

Terrain

  • Size up if you love to explore the backcountry. Most off-piste skiers lean towards longer skis.
  • Size down if you prefer carving your way down a well-groomed mountain or hard pack snow.
