MOTION 3D FIT

Descente uses Motion 3D (three-dimensional) patterns to design product that fit the sport specific movements your body makes as you stretch, move, and turn. With Motion 3D, Descente is able to design product on a 3-dimensionally model as opposed to the traditional 2-dimension flat pattern.

HEAT NAVI

Descente's Heat Navi converts infrared rays that penetrate your jacket into heat to keep your body nice and warm even when you're not in motion.

DOWN INSULATION

Down is a natural insulator with a high warmth-to-weight ratio. It is produced from a layer of fine feathers found under the tougher exterior feathers of ducks or geese. Down offers excellent thermal properties, has good lofting characteristics and traps small pockets of air efficiently, which creates a thermal barrier. Down insulation is rated by fill power, measured as the number of cubic inches displaced by a given ounce of down (in³/oz). Higher fill-power down will insulate better than lower fill-power down of the same weight.
