Description

The Serrate Snowshoe from Atlas is the pinnacle of their new Peak Series with its lightweight and performance-driven design. To better support the time-tested Spring-Loaded™ Suspension system, the Serrate uses Atlas' classic-style Reactiv™ Frame – a higher-grade aluminum construction that blends cylindrical and elliptical shaping to increase strength in all load-bearing areas. The Atlas Zodiac™ toe crampon is combined with a tempered steel rear traction for secure grip on icy terrain, and is built into the pinnacle Wrapp™ Pro binding for an uncompromised fit.

Features

7075 ALUMINUM

Aluminum alloy 7075 is one of the highest strength aluminum alloys available. It's strength to weight ratio is excellent, and it is ideally used for highly stressed parts such as aircraft components. Thus it is known as a true "Aircraft Grade" aluminum.

SPRING-LOADED™ SUSPENSION

Atlas' patented Spring-Loaded™ Suspension (SLS) keeps the snowshoe close underfoot for easy maneuvering and suspends your foot so it can move freely with its intended articulation. The suspension absorbs impact and lets your foot flex naturally side-to-side for a comfortable, stable position on traverses and uneven terrain. SLS enhances traction control too, as the flex provides deeper crampon penetration into the slope, especially on steep or off-angle terrain.

STAINLESS STEEL

An extremely durable metal alloy that is virtually immune to rust, discolouration and corrosion.

HEEL LIFT BAR

On steep climbs, calf muscles tire quickly and traction decreases when your foot matches the slope angle. The heel lift bar eases fatigue and ties directly into Advanced Aft Traction for grip.

Snowshoes Sizing Guide

Choosing a snowshoe size is based on your weight when fully dressed with all your gear in tow. The heavier the total load weight, the more surface area your snowshoe needs to cover. Use this measurement along with the following chart to find the best length for you.
