Titanium is a metal used in racquet frames because it offers a high stiffness-to-weight ratio with multi-directional strength. It is often mixed with graphite, the strength of which is much more dependent upon the orientation of its fibers.
Graphite Frame Material
A carbon fiber with a high stiffness-to-weight ratio, graphite is the most common frame material in mid- to high-priced racquets. When a racquet is made of resin and graphite alone, it is called 100% graphite, even though it is at least 40% resin. If other materials are used, the frame is called a composite.
Moulded deep into the layers of graphite where the frame connects with the shaft, the built-in T-joint creates a durable and high strength one piece frame that is torque free.
Isometric Square Head Shape
Isometric design equalizes the length of main and cross strings in the stringbed, enlarging the sweetspot for more consistent accuracy even on off centre hits.
Nanomesh + Carbon Nanotube
Nanomesh + Carbon Nanotube is an exclusive structural material inserted into the frame and/or shaft of the nanoray series. It significantly increases repulsion power, toughness and impact strength within the racquet. By combining carbon nanotube with a resin, the two molecules create a mesh-like construction which delivers a head-light racquet, sharper drive shots, improved strength and faster handling.
Power Boost Cap
Power Boost Cap extends the length of the cap up into the shaft to fine tune the snap back point of the shaft. This gives the correct flex point needed for smashing from this racket. The mixture of materials gives flex in the correct planes to help give power on a smash but some flex for defence.
Finely mixed nano-sized bubbles greatly reduce impact stress on the racquet, resulting in improved durability.
In comparison to the frame of a conventional racquet, the DX frame features a wider trench so that impact shock is reduced by distributing weight pressure over a larger area. The DX frame is also thicker and able to stretch like a spring under pressure from above. Impact shock is spread over the whole frame, preventing distortion to the structure.
Decreases air resistance and realizes a quicker swing.
