X-Fullerene is used in the resin which bonds the Carbon fibers and creates the cross-link construction. The tenfold increase in binding force made it possible to create a racquet with a 5% higher repulsion power and 15% greater stability.
Graphite Frame Material
A carbon fiber with a high stiffness-to-weight ratio, graphite is the most common frame material in mid- to high-priced racquets. When a racquet is made of resin and graphite alone, it is called 100% graphite, even though it is at least 40% resin. If other materials are used, the frame is called a composite.
Toughlex is Yonex's new material resin. Applied on both sides of the frame it offers improved flexibility, durability, and dwell time. It also provides a softer feel because of its lightweight repulsion and lighter weight. Shots will clear deeper towards the back of the opponent's court allowing much more aggressive counter-attacking play.
Moulded deep into the layers of graphite where the frame connects with the shaft, the built-in T-joint creates a durable and high strength one piece frame that is torque free.
Isometric Square Head Shape
Isometric design equalizes the length of main and cross strings in the stringbed, enlarging the sweetspot for more consistent accuracy even on off centre hits.
NANORAY provides a fast and controlled swing with enhanced repulsion via the New Aero Frame. NANORAY is designed for players who force their opponents into the back of the court with extreme speed. The thinner top of the frame sides minimize air resistance for greater head speed, while the thicker sides at the bottom of the head generate maximum repulsion through greater frame stiffness.
