The Oakley MOD1 Pro MIPS Helmet prioritizes durability and head safety on the mountain, utilizing a tough Dura-Matter shell and MIPS technology to reduce rotational forces during an impact. This Oakley ski helmet's Skull Matrix system integrates BOA® and MIPS for a highly adaptive fit, while fixed vents help regulate airflow during high-intensity runs. A Fidlock® magnetic buckle makes it easy to secure the strap even with thick gloves on, and the removable Polartec® liner provides extra warmth when temperatures drop. MIPS (MULTI-IMPACT PROTECTION SYSTEM)

MIPS is a system used to reduce the rotational forces on the brain in the case of oblique impacts. This is achieved by allowing a controlled rotation of the shell relative to the liner.

DURA-MATTER

Oakley's most robust construction method, using an injection moulded Dura-Matter shell applied over an EPS foam liner. Dura-Matter is dent and ding resistant, offering the highest level of durability.
