Description

Sure, the redesigned Blizzard Rustler 11 Ski was built with the world's best freeride athletes top of mind, able to confidently boost 40-footers and pin it down spicy couloirs. But more importantly, they were also made for those of us who don't get paid to ski. The ones who camp out in the lift line and ride packed tram cars, all so that you can dive into that wind-buffed bowl hooting and hollering, fist-bump your buddies at the bottom and load up for another go. For skiers who spend their days getting pitted in secret stashes, the award-winning Blizzard Rustler 11 is the ultimate resort powder ski. The smooth rocker-camber-rocker profile make it responsive and stable yet super playful in softer snow and on any type of terrain. Rustler is specifically designed for you to relentlessly pursue those feelings. So grab a pair, call your crew, and PRESS SEND.

On average, your skis should fall somewhere between your chin and forehead when held upright. There are a few additional details that play a significant role in determining which ski size is best fit for you. After consulting the size chart, be sure to consider your weight, skill level, skiing style and the type of terrain you’ll be frequenting.

Here are some reasons for sizing up or down:

Weight

  • Size up if you are closer to the high end of your weight range or above average weight for your height.
  • Size down if you are closer to the low end of your weight range or below average weight for your height.

Skill Level and Style

  • Size up if you are an advanced/expert skier who prefers to be fast and aggressive in style.
    • Longer skis tend to have a more stable feel.
  • Size down if you are a beginner/intermediate skier who prefers skiing at a more leisurely pace with quick turns.
    • Shorter skis offer higher overall manoeuverability.

Terrain

  • Size up if you love to explore the backcountry. Most off-piste skiers lean towards longer skis.
  • Size down if you prefer carving your way down a well-groomed mountain or hard pack snow.
